| Thnk for yur advice in picking off caterpillars. I don;t see any. We removed the tent. and all we see is black sticky smudges on the bark. Are those the caterpillars? I sprayed as suggested, but the black stuff is still there. we don;t see any movement |
| I think the pests are gone for now but be sure to watch the tree - just in case egg cases were left and new caterpillars hatch later this spring. Best wishes with your tree! |
