I planted my 3rd Ocotillio and all died.
My last one was planted a year ago. No leaves or flowers yet. Stalk is green, but my neighbors all have leaves & flowers.
How do you care for this plant? Scottsdale, AZ

Most ocotillos in the landscape are overwatered. Try not watering at all and just allowing the natural rainfall to sustain the plant. If you notice the ones out in the desert all leaf out and flower after a monsoon. Just withhold water from your ocotillo and it should perk up.
