| I would like to find a tall plant or tree with a short root system that could survive in a large pot. I woud like this for an area of my patio that gets full sun. Nothing too fragrant please. |
| There are lots of flowering shrubs to choose from. How about Tartarian Dogwood (Cornus alba 'Sibirica'), Enkianthus (Enkianthus campanulatus), Dwarf Fothergilla (Fothergilla gardenii), Mountain-laurel (Kalmia latifolia), Mountain Andromeda (Pieris japonica), or Japanese Snowball (Viburnum plicatum tomentosum 'Mariesii').
