Sweet Viburnums have something that looks like dirty sand under the new growth of leaves and some tiny black bugs - all four plants are invested, what can I use to save my bushes, I;ve had them for a year, the leaves seem to be dying off. Your help is appreciated.

I can't tell from your description just what they might be. How about taking a few of the leaves to your local nursery or cooperative extension office for a positive diagnosis? It sounds like insect eggs underneath your leaves. I'd just pull them off the plant and destroy them to keep new pests from hatching. Hope the nursery staff can help!
