I live in Minnesota and have an area around two pine trees. It is at the end of my fence. Along the fence, until that point I have various plants. I am wondering what kind of ground cover I can plant under these trees to finish off the look.

Some of the best groundcover plants are those that are native to the growing region because they adapt well to growing in the local soils and usually get along with rainfall and only a little supplemental watering in the summer. Here are a few suggestions:
Bearberry Arctostaphylos (uva-ursi), Wild Ginger (Asarum canadense), and Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens). Best wishes with your garden!
