The Q&A Archives: Papaya Tree

Question: I had been inquiring on how to grow a papaya tree and one of you answered back saying I should plant it away from other trees.--How far away from other trees because I have all kinds of trees in my backyard?

Answer: Papaya trees can get quite large and should be planted in full sun and at least 10 to 20 ft (3.1-6.1 m) away from other plants, buildings, and power lines. Hope this clarifies things for you.
