The Q&A Archives: nectarines in bloom

Question: my nectarine tree started giving fruit last year. this year it is loaded. but I notice on many nectarines there is a clear soft jelly substance on the skin, it looks like super glue squeezed out of a small tube. it is removed easily but seems to leave indents on the nectarine skin. Is this normal? and what can I do to get nectarines like the ones at the grocery store, any tips?
