I HAVE SEVERAL YEWS IN THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE AND THEY ARE BROWN I THINK FROM WIND BURN. SO I NEED TO FERTILIZE THEM, TRIM THEM BACK, OR JUST LEAVE THEM BE.

I would trim them back to get rid of the brown foliage and to encourage healthy new growth. Yews should be lightly sheared each spring to help them maintain and thick and dense appearance and lots of new growth. Best wishes with your shrubs.
