I took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free seed at home depot and need your help on how to plant them. I bought tomato, cucumber, basil, zuchini and other perennial seeds.

The backs of the seed packs are loaded with helpful information about when and how deep to plant and how many days to harvest. All the seeds you mention should be sown on moistened compost or potting soil and just barely covered with additional compost or soil. Lightly sprinkle the planting area often enough to keep the seeds from drying out. They will sprout in 7-21 days, depending upon the weather. Just keep the seedbed moist and they will pop up. Best wishes with your garden!
