The Q&A Archives: Magnolia trees

Question: I have a large Magnolia tree that Humminbirds are making holes in . Is there anything I can spray on the tree to stop this?

Answer: There's really no way to stop birds from pecking at your trees other than to try to scare them out when you see them in the trees. You might try hanging aluminum pie pans or strips of foil in the trees to scare the birds away. Hope this helps!
