When can I thin out my grape vine. There is a lot of dead growth and the vines are just developing blooms.

It's a little late to prune your grapes now that they are flowering but you can certainly prune out the dead growth and shorten the vines that are not flowering. Next winter, after the leaves fall from the vines, you can prune them back considerably and you'll have lots of new growth and grape clusters next spring. Best wishes with your vines!
