We're looking for a perennial, flowering vine that would grow quickly to cover a very ugly metal shed in our backyard. While we're making a wish list, it would be lovely if the flowers would attract hummingbirds or butterflies! Can you recommend anything? |
Wisteria and Passiflora have attractive flowers, as does Eccremocarpus (Chilean Glory Flower). You might also consider Coraea (Cup and Saucer), Clematis, Lonicera (Honeysuckle) or Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper). These plants may need some initial support for climbing, but will soon cover the area with lush growth and seasonal flowers. |
