What are some of the best plants I could use in central Kansas that stay green all year? The area has northern exposure and an existing lilac, a couple trees and a forsynthia. There is a windbreak about 30 ft further north.
Thank you for your advice. Sue

Oh my goodness! There are so many shrubs and perennials I barely know where to start! You can choose from hundreds and I found a wonderful resource for you with plant lists, descriptions and cultural requirements I think you will find very helpful: http://www.hfrr.ksu.edu/Deskto...

The site is hosted by the university and contains tried-and-true plants for your gardening region. You can even print the publications for future reference. Enjoy your landscape!
