Hedge in the backyard - Knowledgebase Question

I have wooded backyard,but it is not very dense.We bought this house beccause we like greenery.In winter there are no leaves on trees. we are looking for some hedging or a tree line which will be green in winter as well.It should also be easy growing & drought resistant.can you suggest some thing?

Ohio State University recommends Thuja occidentalis (American Arborvitae), Ilex (holly) or Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (Kinnikinnick, Red bearberry) for woodland planting in your region. Hope one of these is just right for your landscape!
