I want a tree as an anchor in my back shade garden. Desired max ht 5-6 ft trimmed width 3It needs to only grow to between 5-6 feet tall and I will want to keep it trimmed to about 3 ft. Is there something that might work? Since it is shady should I invest in something almost full grown so it doesn't take too long to reach the desired ht? Is there a bush I can train to grown tree like for there? |
I don't know if you will find a tree to fit such a small space. Perhaps a shrub would be a better choice - a camellia, perhaps? With that said, you can probably plant a dwarf flowering cherry or a Bradford pear tree (neither will bear fruit), or a columnar apple tree. Wish I had more suggestions! |
