The Q&A Archives: tomato problem

Question: I have white( bleached out) leaves on my tomato plants, what's the cause?

Answer: Juvenile plants are subject to sunburn when first transplanted into the garden. Shading them for a few days right after planting can help avoid sunburn, but plants usually overcome the problem on their own. Your plants will outgrow this condition and there's nothing special you need to do.
