I have found several grubs that are red in color in my flower beds. I have seen the white before, but never the red. What are they and should I put grubs killer down? If so, what do you suggest that is

Grubs are soft and white and they are the larvae of beetles. Are what you found hard and reddish in color? Do they look like the picture in the following website:

If so they are the larvae of a moth (sphinx) or other and grub control will not affect them. They will finish their pupation and then fly away. There is nothing you need to do to control them.
