The Q&A Archives: Lilies

Question: How often do lilies bloom from one bulb and when would I know that they have stopped?

Answer: Lilies bloom for several weeks during the summer and if you cut off the faded petals and any seed pods that develop they will produce more flowers. When no more flowers are being produced, they have stopped their floral display for the year.
