I live in the Houston area, where we have had a lot of rain lately. In my pot of mint and in my garden around my tomatoes, I have tiny mushroom-like fungus growing. It is not in my other pots or around other vegetables. What should I do?

The fungus is growing from the decomposing organic matter in your potted plants. You can simply scrape it off the surface of the soil to remove it. Overly wet conditions are what prompted it to grow - allow the top of the soil to dry out and you shouldn't see any more fungus. Best wishes with your plants!
