I just removed a 3yr old snail vine I trained up a 6'h x 10'w stucco wall located on the north side of my south wall. The roots had me very concerned since all of my pool pipes are 12-18 |
The mandevilla will work, as will bougainvillea but I would not plant the creeping fig. When the stems and leaves attach themselves to stucco, they will be there almost forever. There is no practical way to remove them and they can damage stucco. So, keep your creeping fig in a container and away from your stucco wall. Use the mandevilla, a bougainvillea or even a duranta in the area. Best wishes with your garden! |
