We're doing an entry planting for our neighborhood. It'll have a post and rail fence behind,its partly sunny, approx. 18 by 6 feet, zone6. Any suggestions?

Here are some suggestions for flowering plants and for shrubs for your gardening region:

Alyssum, Baby's Breath, Basket of Gold, Butterfly Flower, Campanula Bellflower, Coneflower, Coreopsis, Creeping Phlox, Honeysuckle, Daisies, Dusty Miller, Evening Primrose, Edelweiss, Fall Asters, Fountain Grass, Gaillaridia and Globe thistle. Some shrubs to consider include Beauty Bush, Flowering Quince, Juniper, Scotch Broom, Smoke Bush or Siberian Pea. Enjoy your garden.
