I decided to grow vegetables in containers because I live in an apt. i put 5 bush bean plants in a 18

If given enough room, each of your bush bean plants will grow 2-3' tall and about 2' wide so your plants are definitely overcrowded and won't perform well unless you remove them and transplant them into their own containers. It's easier to move them while they are small. They won't suffer as much transplant shock if you move them now. If you leave all five in their current container, they will spend their time competing for sunshine and moisture and none will grow well for you. I'd move them now while they are still small.
