I live on a lake and have planted lantana, star jasmine and many other plants. Every year I get infested with white fly. What can I do to stop them. Thanks

Whiteflies are really difficult to control because they fly away with the least disturbance. I've had good success spraying insecticidal soap on the pests in the early morning or at dusk when they are resting on the leaves. They aren't so apt to fly away at those times. You will need to make repeated applications and spray the undersides of the leaves, as well, to get their eggs. Good luck with your eradication project!
