I AM AN OLD-FASHIONED GARDENER AND NOW THAT FARMERS ARE NOT BAILING STRAW, WHAT IS BEST MULCH FOR TOMATOES TO KEEP DOWN WEEDS?

If you can't find straw, you can use compost or aged manure to mulch your tomatoes. You can purchase these materials in bulk or bagged (and pastuerized so there are no weed seeds). Hope you have a great harvest!
