my daffodils are coming to an end of their time. What do I do now? Shud I cut the blossoms off?? |
If you want to save the daffodils, wait until the flowers fade then cut back the flowering stem but allow the leaves to shrivel up on their own. The foliage collects and transports carbohydrates to the bulbs for the energy they'll need to produce next year's flowers. You leave them planted in the ground or you can dig them up, store them until the fall and then replant. Enjoy! |
