The Q&A Archives: gerbera daisy falling

Question: I just bought some gerbera daisy and planted them today. Only one stands tall and pretty. The rest are bent over, but still fully bloomed. Why is that?

Answer: Transplant shock is universal for tender plants such as gerberas. Your plants should recover in a few days. In the meantime try to shield them from hot afternoon sunshine and the will perk up faster. Best wishes with your beautiful new plants.
