I'm looking for taller (about 3'), thinner plants that truly do well in shade (not partial shade). I prefer grasses, but haven't found any that could grow well. Do you have any suggestions for taller, thinner shade plants?

Foxglove is tall and upright; maiden grass and tufted hairgrass are ornamental grasses that do well in the shade; false Solomon's Seal, Dicentra (bleeding heart), Astilbe, coral bells, campanula and Tradescantia (Flower-of-the-Day) will also perform well in the shade. Hope these suggestions help.
