I just noticed that my 6 year old Rose Bud (Jade Tree) has not begun to bud. Every year it has been plentiful. I think it may have died. Any reason why??

It might just be slow this year, or it may have suffered winter damage. Prune it back as you normally do each spring. If the branches still have green tissue, the canes are alive. If you find no green tissue, the branches may have died back or but perhaps the roots are still alive. If so you should see new growth. If the only new growth you see comes from below the grafted area, the root system is still alive but hybrid top did not make it through the winter. Hope it is just slow in leafing out this spring....
