Why do my tomato plants bloom flowers then the flowers die? |
If the open flowers are not pollinated, the flowers will die. If they are pollinated, the petals will fall but a small fruit will begin to develop. Sometimes tomato plants will not set fruit if the temperature is over 90F. So, if lack of pollination is the problem, you can add some colorful flowers to your garden to attract bees, or you can try taping the stems with open flowers to help transfer the pollen. Hope this helps! |
