My orange, grapefruit and lemon trees are all growing very poorly, dropping fruit or not flowering at all, and have light yellow leaves. I'm also starting to notice twiggy dead branches in the orange tree. What could the problem be? Other than fertilizing and watering as needed what can be done to help my poor trees? |
They don't sound healthy at all so I don't really know where to begin. If you are watering and fertilizing as required, they may have a pest problem or might be developing a disease. I can't diagnose it long distance, though, so you will have to put on your detective cap and see if you can find any signs of insects or diseases. Although citrus trees do not normally need to be pruned, you might try pruning yours back to encourage healthy new growth. Hope they respond well and you get lots of healthy new growth! |
