The Q&A Archives: Lawn

Question: How good is the new Scotts product that has seed/fertilizer/soil in same container for small spots?

Answer: I think it's worth a try - for convenience sake if nothing else. Or, you can rake the bare areas to get scruff up the soil, sprinkle on some compost then overseed and water well. Keep the areas moist and the seeds should sprout in 7-10 days.
