i purchased a bushy green fully budded plant.put in my atrium..no flowers..i moved to the outside deck still in potted..looked sick..bottom leaves truning yellow..i planted in sunny spot in yard..looks sicker??? help i purchased a smaller one planted in same sun..doing fine..help

Sounds like your gardenia is being temperamental - which is par for the course with gardenias. I also think it will snap out of it in time. Gardenias like rich, moist, slightly acidic soils and appreciate humidity so try hosing your plant down in the mornings while it is trying to adjust to its new home. Just continue to give it good care and I think it will recover, re-establish its root system and begin to grow well. Enjoy!
