Are yellow nugget marigolds appropriate for a window box? How tall will they grow? What other annuals would you recommend to combine with yellow marigolds that would do well in a western exposure?

'Nugget Supreme Yellow' is Burpee's best-of-both-worlds marigold from a cross of a small French marigold and a large, bold American variety. The plants are compact and produce abundant bloom on 12" plants. That's a bit large for a window box, but it will still work - you can pinch them to create more compact plants. I think 'Purple Ruffles' basil would make a great companion providing bold contrasting color and scent. Marry these colors together with crimson 'Empress of India' nasturtiums. Enjoy!
