If you plan to grow your tomato plant in a container, you'll need to bump it up to a 5 gallon pot to provide enough room for the roots to grow so they can support the top part of the plant. Eight hours of direct sunshine is required for good growth and fruit set. Your fertilizer and schedule sounds just right! Good luck with your tomato plant!
