Question: in the yard next door are these japanese elm trees they are very tall and old the tops are hanging bow shaped and many branches have broken off as alot of bark they are weak looking what is this a sign of and to they attrack japanese beetles when i don't cover the pool there has to be 100 of then floating yes grubs have been a big problem any help

Answer: I don't think you are finding Japanese Beetle grubs in your swimming pool but Elm Tree Borer larvae. Here's a website with a photo:

The only way to resolve the issue is to have your neighbor remove the infected tree or at least cut off the affected tree parts.
