The Q&A Archives: Dividing of candytuft roots

Question: When is the best time of year to divide candytuft roots? Any particular technique?

Answer: You can divide them in either spring or fall. I just use a shovel to separate the clumps but you can dig the entire plant and cut it into several divisions. As long as each division has both roots and foliage, they will become new plants. Enjoy!
