I have some plants I do not know if they are indoor or outdoor plant but they are in the house. I do not know the name of the plants but two poinsettia. I want to know what is happening when the tips of the leaves are turning brown or black and white things are on the leaf tips? Also like to know what is happening when the leaves are draped.

Browning leaf tips can indicate over watering or dry air. White things can either be pests such as mealybugs or scale, or could be a fungal growth or even a fertilizer residue. Without knowing more about the plants or the white things, I'm afraid I can't be of more help.
