I planted a lilac bush April 4 that had blooms at the time of planting. They quickly dried and I clipped them off. Now a lot of my branches leaves are turning brown. Am I loosing the bush or what should I do?

Your lilac is just showing some signs of stress from being transplanted. In a few weeks it will adjust and perk up and at that time you can prune away any dead leaves or branches. Lilacs are vigorous growers and as soon as yours is established it will make up for lost time. Just remember to water it deeply once a week and it will rebound in no time.
