We have a covered ground level deck.Recently, we are noticing bees flying around our deck, table & chairs. They seem to fly off when chased & I do not see any signs of a nest anywhere. It is not a large number at any tims, but seems to be about 4-7 at a time. I have killed several, but they keep coming back and are a nusince. Any suggestions to keep them away? (We have a dog.)thanks

I think the bees have either nested nearby or are looking for a likely place to nest. As long as you have activity in and around your deck the bees will probably go elsewhere to nest. They don't like company! There's really nothing you can do to drive them away aside from just being there to annoy them as much as they annoy you. Wish I had other solutions for you!
