I decided to put a couple lemon balm plants in the garden this year but apparently some sort of bug thinks it is quite the delicacy! can you help? |
Insects don't usually bother lemon balm. In fact, it is an insect repellant! There may be caterpillars chewing on the foliage. Check under each leaf to see if you can find the pests. If so, handpick them. There really are no registered pesticides for lemon balm so your best defense is to hand pick any pests you see or squirt them off with water from the hose. Best wishes with your plants! |
