Am I suppose to cut back the stalks of my bearded iris and daffodils after they're done blooming or stake them up until they've browned?

When the flowers are spent, cut the flowering stalks down to foliage level. Be sure to allow the foliage to die down on its own, then pull the dead leaves away. Your daffodils and Dutch iris will show up again early next spring. Enjoy your garden.
