Southwest Florida Annuals and Perennials - Knowledgebase Question

Since weather in SW Florida is either hot or mild, would annuals last the whole year? If not, what annuals would do well with the winters here? In terms of perennials, can you give a me a list of flowering perenials that would show blooms at different parts of the year? Their heights would be a consideration as well. Thank.

Annuals are seasonal - they only last for a few months at best. Some prefer cool temperatures and others like it hot so you will need to plant new annuals, depending upon the season.
