How do I plant a tropical flower bed?

Tropical plants usually grow best in a humus rich soil so incorporate lots of organic matter into the bed so it holds lots of moisture. You can use compost, shredded leaves, shredded bark, potting soil - just about any organic matter that will hold moisture. Then plant your tropical plants.
