| Regardless of age or size, the Sago palms (Cycas revoluta) are one of the easiest plants to grow, indoors or out, by beginner or expert. This subtropical adapts to a wide range of temperatures from 15 to 110 degrees F (-11 to 42 degrees C), accepts full sun or bright interior light, thrives with attention, and tolerates neglect. Sago palms are grown outdoors commerically in south Texas so I think it will grow outdoors for you, too. In cooler parts of the country Sago palms are grown indoors.
