| I planted bare root roses in April and they have 4 inch new shoots and new leaves. I'm ready to spray with Orthenex or other pest/disease control, but the directions say to spray when I first see evidence of pest or disease. Should I not spray anyway as a preventive measure? |
| It is wise to be vigilant when growing roses so you can stop a problem before it becomes too serious. However, it is best to identify each problem as it occurs and then, if the problem is intolerable, use an appropriate spray labeled for that specific problem. So far it sounds like you are lucky enough not to have problems! |
