splitting a snapdragon - Knowledgebase Question

I bought a beautiful velvet looking snapdragon last year for each side of my flower bed not expecting them to come back one did & now I'm wondering if I can split the plant to put on the opposite side?

Congratulations on your surprise snapdragon. Snaps are single plants and cannot be divided but you should be able to save some seeds from your plant and sow them in the ground. I think that's what happened last summer and why you have a new plant in your flower bed this year. The original plant dropped seeds and a new plant emerged.
