In Vermont last September, we admired the blooming "Black-eyed Susans". Hoping to enjoy some in my own garden, when shopping, I noticed there seems to be two varieties: "Brown-Eyed and Black-Eyed". Is there a difference? I just purchased Rudbeckia Fulgida "Goldsturm" and am hoping that I have the same as commonly seen in Vermont last Fall.

There are many different cultivars of Black-eyed Susans--from the photo I have here, 'Goldsturm' looks like the classic, with very dark brown eyes. (There are types with double flowers, striped petals, and green centers--but I like the "classic" too!)
