Question: When is the best time and best way to move amaryllis in florida. They are cuurently in the ground, but I want to move them about 25 feet to a new bed. They would receive the same amount of sun as they do now.

Answer: University of Florida extension service recommends amaryllis be dug and reset in September or October. If you must move them now you will sacrifice their flowers this season.
