When is the best time and best way to move amaryllis in florida. They are cuurently in the ground, but I want to move them about 25 feet to a new bed. They would receive the same amount of sun as they do now.

University of Florida extension service recommends amaryllis be dug and reset in September or October. If you must move them now you will sacrifice their flowers this season.
