I purchased on Earth Day at Home Depot some starters. Planted them all but my squash starters are yellowing. Please help. What is wrong? What should I do?
The soil is a mix of potting soil, cow manure and chicken manure? Could it be the chicken manure was not broken down and it is burning the root of the plant? If so what should I do to correct it? It's been 2 weeks. Thank you for your help

Squash are sometimes difficult to transplant but it is still possible your plants will pull through. It's easy to accidentally plant them too deeply and if soil is around the stems it can cause rot. I like to plant mine so the soil from the pot is just a half inch above the soil in the garden. Then when the soil settles after watering the squash is planted at just the right depth. Check your and scrape away any soil that might be touching the stem. Good luck with your starter plants.
