My Day lilies are taking over!! Is it okay to dig some of them up and give them to friends that would like to have them, since they so close to blooming?? In fact, a few ARE blooming! Would it be better to wait until they have run their cycle?? Thanks for your help...you folks are GREAT!

Dayliles are pretty resilient so you can go ahead and dig them now. They will stop blooming for a few weeks but should resume flower production by mid summer. Enjoy your garden - and thanks for the compliment!
